Rehomed: Male baby rats - Wallington, Surrey

SarahP

Wise Old Thumper
Starlight Trust has some lovely male baby rats available for adoption enquiries.

Name/s: Scooby, Klaus, Splinter, Brian, Rudy, Gnasher and Nibbler

Sex: Male

Neutered: No

Date of Birth: End of January 2018

History: These boys came to us to find new homes as they were unwanted. We’ll give full details to prospective adopters.

Temperament: The boys spent their first six weeks getting minimal human contact which isn’t ideal. However, here they are getting daily handling and are coming on leaps and bounds. They are now easy to handle and enjoying interacting with people.

Health: They are in good health with no apparent issues

Ideal home: The boys would be suitable for first time owners. Where they are to be the only rats in the house we would prefer to home in trios or quartets as we find this makes a much healthier, balanced group dynamic than just a pair. They’d be perfect for mixing in with existing boys too.

Update on these guys:
Brian, Splinter, Rudy, Klaus and Scout are still looking for homes.

Rudy, Klaus and Scout are all quite adventurous, cheeky boys so I'd suggest they go as a trio to someone who wants boys with a bit of norty! They can mix with an existing group or be a self contained trio.

Brian and Splinter are confident and outgoing and do like to explore but are a bit more inclined to squishyness than the other three. We'd like to find them a home with an existing group of boys they could move in with.

They are now 11 weeks old so the perfect age for intros to adult males. All have been handled every day since they got here so all are confident, easy to handle and with wonderful natures. They honestly are very special boys indeed
