New Kit
Hi guys,
My bun Freddy stopped eating yesterday so I got him to the vet at lunchtime. Apparently he has a small mouth ulcer (no GI stasis thank god) so she gave him a injected painkiller and sent us on our way with some critical care. She said if he doesn't improve by today then he'll have to stay overnight with them and have fluids.
He had all the critical care, a bunch of parsley, and by 9pm he was eating his pellets of his own accord. Got up this morning to give him breakfast and he ate a couple of pellets before turning his nose up at them and going back to his litter tray.
I've got a follow up appointment for him at 11am this morning. I don't know if he's just in pain because I'm assuming the pain killer has worn off by now, or if it's something more serious.
Anybody had anything similar happen? I'm not sure if I should be preparing myself for him having to have an overnight stay.
