Doughnuts having another dental three weeks after her other one

Thanks for the video. Putting her in the carrier is a great idea. Think I would struggle on my own. She doesn't just sit still unfortunately

I dont blame her, I'd not feel minded to co-operate with anyone wielding a needle !!

The sneezing may be related to her Dental problems as much as it is to infection. So now that the crowns of her teeth are shorter there will be less pressure on the tooth roots when she chews, hence less irritation/sneezing. You may find that Mark decides to hold off on giving the Penicillin injections if Doughnut completes the course of oral abx and there are no more ongoing respiratory tract symptoms. It could be that for Doughnut lots of sneezing will be an indicator of her needing another Dental. Even if she is still eating normally.

Hope she is doing well now and that she can go for more than 3 weeks before needing another Dental xx

Yes I thought sneezing was the teeth. I've no plans to go back for the injections think her thought she would be sorted

She's just done a binkie so feeling happy with the world. I've even managed some kisses.

Doughnut doesn't let anything get her down does she !

Kisses ahh ....

I am surprised her sneezing was related to the teeth, but hopefully the abx will work for her and she will be right was rain soon. x

I've got back from my weekend away. Doughnuts been happy but still not rushing for her muesli in fact didn't eat any this morning but eating lots of hay. Does it take a while for them to want pellets. It's given her some critical care on a saucer and she's eaten some of that. Thinking I may get some alfalfa hay so she doesn't lose any more weight. Maybe her tongue is still sore or back teeth

Spoke to mark today. He thinks she's still in pain so adding in tramadol as well. He thinks her mouth is ulcerated. Will pick it up tomorrow and got to call him back in a few days

Poor little Miss D

I really hope the additional analgesia helps her xx

Oh well still not right. Eats her muesli but doesn't rush and eats it throughout the day if I keep putting it in from of her. Craving my walls with lining paper glue and plaster. Eating newspaper so took it away. Think it means guts are slowing down but still happy. Binky and waggy tail lol. Mark the specialist calling me back this evening on plan of action

Sounds like the behaviour of a Rabbit with a sluggish cecum. I am sure that Mark will have some suggestions as to what to do next.

Yep I'm going to wait. Think he'll want to see her yet again. Looking at her you don't think anything's wrong. Flopped over yesterday and still wants kisses and nose rubs. Even from nasty mummy who keep picking her up

This used to happen to Mr B while he was recovering from a dental, some weird need to chew things but not really eat. A vet suggested straw and that helped, only for a week and just to chew on.
