Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Bunny not eating

Hi guys,

I got problem with my bunny. She’s not eating and drinking, not even treats she normally loves. She also stay’s only in corner of her cage. She is usually very friendly, full of energy and got big appetite, so it really concerns me.

Yesterday we had accident with our puppy. He run into the room when bunny was out of cage and wanted to play with her. Of course we immediately took dog out so he won’t hurt bunny. After that bunny was really startled.

So I think that her behaviour may be from stress. Is there anything I can do for her or should I bring her to vet?

Hello

You definitely need to take your Rabbit to the Vet today. Whilst her 'not eating' may be stress induced it still has the potential of becoming a serious problem -Gut Stasis

Some information here, but the info' is no substitute for seeking prompt Veterinary attention for your Rabbit

I would give your Vet a call now. Good luck x

Hi there and welcome to the Forum

I would take her to the vet today. How long has she not been eating?

There's some useful info here on what's called 'gut stasis'. A common occurrence in rabbits unfortunately:

Good luck xx

Great advice from the people before me, hopefully you got her to the vet and had her checked out! I'm a little late, but I was wondering how it went? I hope you are both well! :)
