Hello all,
I am new on the forums and was hoping that someone would be able to tell me what exactly is going on with my bunny, Toffee.
She will be a year old in March and in the past 3 - 4 months has began making this 'chirping' noise. It sounds almost like a frog croak. She makes this noise constantly when she see's me or when I spend time sitting with her outside of her cage for her daily run around. She's incredibly friendly and once she's done 'chirping' she often nips and bites at my clothing before flopping with all legs spread beside me. This chirping episode can go on for 1 - 2 hours at a time (she's often let out for several hours a day as she's a house rabbit).
I have linked two videos below. The first video you'll hear a single 'chirp' (it almost sounds like a rusty bed spring) as she leaps into my lap. This chirp can often be consistent, one after the other with her ears forward and tail in the air as she darts towards me. A second video of her constant flopping beside me. I have taken her to the vets on two separate occassions (for her jabs and also a quarterly health check). I have been told by two separate vets she's very well and healthy.
I've kept rabbits for many years and understand the flopping aspect but I have never had a bun do this beside me constantly with the chirping. I've never even heard a bun chirp!

Any information would be appreciated so that I can understand my baby girl better!
