I won't switch the light off and go to bed if Lola is eating. I wait till she's done. She actually gets up and eats when we do at lunch and dinner, she is such a sweet bunny it feels courteous to let her finish when she has her overnight pellets.
Plus I have an irrational fear she'll choke if I do switch them off! When she very first moved into the living room she had the light on all night for a week or so and when they were little and I had to separate them when they fell out I slept on the cold hard conservatory floor with them so they weren't scared
