Please Note - Medical Advice
Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.
You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.
Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

*** UPDATE****
Day 3
So yesterday Norma perked up a little bit the rapid eye and head movement movement slowed right down a lot and has periods of not doing it at all, she's still off her food and isn't eating properly I'm syringe feeding and mixed a bit of Banana and strawberry in the recovery mix food for her but she did eat a bit of parsley, a little bit of hay, some Dandilion root and fenugreek crunchies so she's being very selective of what she's eating I don't know if this is normal symptom with E.C but I think she seems to be improving little by little.

Day 3
So yesterday Norma perked up a little bit the rapid eye and head movement movement slowed right down a lot and has periods of not doing it at all, she's still off her food and isn't eating properly I'm syringe feeding and mixed a bit of Banana and strawberry in the recovery mix food for her but she did eat a bit of parsley, a little bit of hay, some Dandilion root and fenugreek crunchies so she's being very selective of what she's eating I don't know if this is normal symptom with E.C but I think she seems to be improving little by little.
I'll try moistening her pellets i never thought of that as she really isn't liking the syringe stuff!
I'll try grass, she ate the dandilions I gave her but there were only a couple in the garden
Thanks for your help
My honey also struggled to eat pellets when she had her ear infection but was happy to nibble on forage and veg. It's great you can see an improvement but did the vet say that it could be an ear infection? Also is she a lop? As ear infections can be more prone in lop bunnies! It might be worth asking if she can have some anti-biotics to just to cover this basis maybe?
Also the drug my bunny had to help with the nausea was called stemitil and really helped honey with her balance!
Topping up the vibes for her xx
