    Default Pet plan insurance

I recently took out pet plan cover for Millie a few months ago. What do I do as I have never claimed before? And do I have to claim ?

I found with PetPlan the vet surgery can settle the claim direct and into your bank account. You could ask the surgery what they need from you?

    How's Millie doing? xx

So long as it's not possibly related to any other problems she may have had prior to insurance the vets can claim for you.

They may have claims forms already, if not you'll need to take one in and fill in your bits. They'll do all the rest for you.

Some vets charge to complete claims forms (which IMO I think is stupid... they have to fill out their bits - we can't claim otherwise).

You'll generally be paid it all minus your insurance excess, sometimes they won't pay for critical care etc but it'll be explained on the settlement if they haven't paid for something & why not.

I used to complete all the claims forms for my practice and be an insurance advisor so feel free to PM me and I'll help where I can
