    Can my boys have a whole coconut for playing with and eating - the whole thing not broken up? Thank you

    I've never considered this. However, several online sites say that Coconut shell is OK for rabbits. I presume you mean just the shell. However, I would be a bit concerned about the long fibres being a choking risk. I'm also not sure whether Coconuts would be dipped in some sort of chemical before being sent for sale.

    There's loads of info on line and the answer is No! It tells you why not if you care to look.
