So our update for today, the boys now have the whole kitchen diner (except under the table and where our cats water fountain is because wires need sorting). They are having a lovely time exploring and peeping into the living room, they are desperate to come into the living room, both tried to squeeze through the baby gate! So we tied card to the bottom to stop anyone getting stuck but they can still look over

Still feels like a dream!
No aggression so far, but with more room it seems Truffle gets more humpy, so I’m keeping an eye out.

Truffle had no idea about stairs when we first got him, I think we left treats every few steps to get him started. But if you have bare wood I’d definitely get some sort of carpet tiles or something. If it helps we bought this black matting stuff which was about £2 because it’s supposed to be for keeping things still on dining tables, but under our carpet offcuts it’s great to stop them sliding, might mean you don’t have to stick them down

The same stuff was with the rugs but was quite pricey but might be worth it if your doing stairs, but ours was in the kitchen ware section.

So I know my thread has been going on for aaaaages, so I wanted to wait and round it off with this last achievement.

This afternoon the puppy pen went away and most of the carpet in the kitchen has gone away. They boys have the whole of downstairs just like Truffle used to have.
It’s been such a long 7 months but we couldn’t be happier and I’m so glad we didn’t have to re home Luther because it would have broken my heart.

Thank you all so so much for being here for me and following our journey. I really couldn’t have done this without you guys, I wish I could hug every one of you!! X
