Hi everyone
KK, that's awesome what you've put on the thread. I've had so little time so far, with work, that I haven't had a chance to sort any photos. But I'm off for 5 days now
I'll get on and deal with my inbox in a sec, I've got a thing about keeping messages, although I'll probably never read most of them again:lol:
So, the buns are awesome and I'm a little bit in love. I don't know if it's ok to have favourites, but 'Hugo' is amazing, he's so big and cuddly and chilled out
. 'Snow white' is beautiful, and friendly, but less easy to handle, she wriggles about a lot and generally a bit less sure, but it's very early days. 'Ronnie' is feisty
, I've never had a Nethie before, so wasn't sure what to expect. He's lovely, but at the moment very unsure of us and tends to run away if he sees me coming.
All are eating well and enjoying the gentle introduction of some Science Selective (they are going for that first). Like KK said whilst the others go straight for food, 'Ronnie' doesn't, but he does eat it overnight. Btw, I'd be surprised too if he was their son!.
We've been busy rearranging things and have managed to source a large run which will divide the shed between them and allow us to take out the old hutch (No more bunny prison). We are collecting it tomorrow (meaning another van hire). Obviously, eventually (after neutering / bonding) they will have the whole shed and we can use the run externally. Unfortunately things can't happen overnight, so it's going to be a step by step process. Starting with first vet visit this week.
Just to add, Blossom (who used to live in the shed) is happily moved in to her new, very spacious, playhouse. It's old, really old and needs some tlc, but it's perfect
I'll try to get a photo up soon.
I can't quite believe we now have 12 rabbits  and I'm looking at my garden going :shock: but it's fun and very rewarding. It took me 1 hour 15 mins last night to get around everyone
