Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.
Finally some good news! She has passed a good number of poos this morning and has started to eat more for herself. She is being discharged with some meds this evening as the vet thinks she will continue to improve more at home. Obviously if she starts to backwards then I'll take her straight back. Thanks so much everyone for the magical RU vibes
I have been almost tearing my hair out all morning though. I've been repeatedly trying to phone the hospital but none of the calls were connecting. I started to panic thinking the hospital had tried to call last night with bad news and couldn't get through. In the end I couldn't stand it any longer and was putting my shoes on to go down there in person when the vet called with the good news. I almost cried with relief. I'm just off out now to get her some more fresh herbs to encourage her to keep eating when she gets home.
