Please Note - Medical Advice
Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.
You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.
Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.
Hi, thank you for asking.Norah is really good, however Jimmy is not. He is quiet and different and I am having to coax him to eat. Could this be stress related. He went to vets with her, then he is brought into the house which is a new environment and I can tell he hates it. Could this all be be becauase he is unhappy.. . This could be my second post that appears as the first disappeared. Thank you

Yesterday I let him out for a while into his own home and he was much better. He even went in the litter tray and pooped in there. Do you think if I remove the ramp that is in the shed so they are only on ground level I could put them both back out there and I will keep checking on Norah. She is a lazy rabbit and just likes to chill anyway and she is doing much better now she has the pain meds. I really don't want to separate them unless I have to. Jimmy has eaten some curly kale and a slice of apple and he has ate a few pellets, Norah isn't eating the blackberry looking poops she is leaving them , I am presuming she can't stretch to get them because it hurts. There are some smaller darker poops around but not sure who they are from. I think maybe I am analysing things more because they are in my face all the time, when they are outside we have a different routine and they are pleased to see me and in the food bags and grabbing the hay. It is different now because I am there all the time giving them everything they want.I feel putting them back outside will solve the issues but I do not want to do anything to hold back Norahs recovery.

He is OK but not himself. He seems to let Norah eat first before he does, I let him out the pen to have a wander around the house but he just sits at the window looking out at his real home. I am having second thoughts about putting them back in the shed for now , mainly for the fly's , it worries me especially as Norah's poops are sticking to her more than usual. I will let jimmy have an hour outside in his shed today,he can go from the house into his shed if I arrange the runs differently. These rabbits are so sensitive..I just want them Both to be OK.

Yes I will, thank you and putting food in the run is a fantastic idea. I might struggle to get him back in but that is the least of my worries. I really do appreciate the help and advice , I couldn't of done it alone . Xx

Yeah I will, I am a worrier especially over my animals. I have 8 altogether and there is always one not well..if I could drink a bottle of vodka every day I would be fine [emoji23]. No, really I will try to stay as calm as I can. Xxx

Yes he is outside sitting on his balcony outside the shed. Norah is inside in the pen.he seems alright , he was binkying around the garden. It looks like rain so I am hoping he comes in the house and doesn't just sit there because he looks very settled. He can get in the shed through the catflap but he always likes to sit outside. So far so good.
