Should I ask my vet to take out his bottom teeth? The teeth grow so fast that I am taking him to the vet at least once per month. I offer him plenty of hay, he has a part of a deer antler to chew and he does not chew on it. Also have wood ect. The best thing I ever did for my rabbit with maloccluded teeth was to get the vet to take them out. Top and bottom. You can't just remove the bottom teeth, as the top teeth have nothing to grind against.
