    Default Digging box question.

I need to get a dig box as my two rascals have just started digging the grass in their run. 😱

Luckily they cannot dig out as I put mesh under the turf.😄

What would those in the know recommend to fill the box?
Play sand or just soil from garden?

For an inside rabbit, I use a layer of chinchilla sand, then compost over the top. I top-up the compost as and when needed. Actually, Monty never uses it for digging, his main enjoyment is lying on it relaxing - so I think compost is preferable for that (tho' I've never given him the choice of just sand, so perhaps he'd prefer it!)
