  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Which Incontinent Pads Do You Use?

cara

Alpha Buck
As above please.

I am using Hartz Ultraguard Dog Pads, which are good, but wondered if there is a cheaper option to try?

Why do you use?

Thanks

Puppy Pads

Hi

I buy some very similar, they have them in Wilcos (30 for £3.50) or Home Bargains (40 for 4.99). I use them for my elderly bunny.

Oh! That's unexpected! Is this something that works well for you? With all your rabbits (I have the impression you have a multiple!), I am surprised you don't have a few incontinents amongst them and so would need them yourself!?

How many/how much? (I also definitely don't want to inconvenience you if it would be easier for me to order online).

I only have 4 Rabbits now and non have problems in their waterworks department. I bought the Puppy pads when I got my Puppy 'Morse'. But he never needed them as he was clean in the house from day 1 !

I dont want anything for the Pads, maybe you could just make a small Donation to ARC Rescue that would cover the cost of the postage.

If you would like the pads then just PM me an address to post them off to x
