    Default Rhodri's strange meeting

I love this picture of Rhodri on one of our walks the other day.

He really didn't know what to make of the statue - he's so used to people talking to him and making a fuss but these chaps didn't seem bothered at all!

My precious boy, I miss you so much

Sleep well baby, I love you

    How lovely!

It reminds me of these, where the dog wants the statue to throw the stick for him:

It's at the Parc Slip Nature Reserve near Bridgend, South Wales. The nature reserve was formed on the site of the former Parc Slip Colliery, hence the miners statue.

Great photo, his face looking up at the 'people' is priceless, expectant, hopeful, wondering! Love it!

That's lovely. What a beautiful statue. Rhodri is stunning, too, especially with the "wind in his hair"!

    How dare they ignore him!
Just read about the awful mining disaster in the pit.
