Hi every bun,

I thought I would show you our border collie called Gixxer. She is 8 years old and the most intelligent doggy I have ever met. I love her so much! I am very lucky to have her in my life now, having a dog has changed my life in the best possible way. We spend hours walking together. I have never had my own dog before, she moved in on Christmas day this year. Here's some pictures!

She is very lovely I love older doggies, with their little grey faces! My two dogs of my own have both been seniors

What a gorgeous doggy! I see she has the same opinion as my Jenna about bathtime. :lol:

I had a GSD cross who would chase frisbees, only until she got tired of the game (usually three throws in) and would take the disc under the porch so I couldn't throw it again. :roll:

I've always loved animals but in my youth I was all about cats. Since my bridge dog, Shadow, and now Jenna, I couldn't be without a dog now!

How do you pronounce her name? It's very unusual.

She seems very at home, and also poses very well for photos!

Where did she come from? How lovely she moved in on Christmas Day

Her name is pronounced Jisker. Or maybe jixer it's hard to describe. My partner named her after a motorbike called a GXR cruel I know. But everyone says she couldn't be called anything else it suits her. Well she was staying at my partners dad's and he surprised us on Christmas day with a visit and gixxer wouldn't leave! So his dad left her here and she is very happy here I think.

I am trying to train her new stuff, at the moment we only have up, down, come, walk close, paw and other paw lol
