Hi all,
As some of you know, I've been researching and waiting to meet the right bun or bunnies to bond with my pair of mini-lops (boy & girl, both spayed/neutered)...
I met some lovely rescue bunnies at the weekend, including a lovely little chap who I think could be the right temperament to join the group.
...I want to get the timing right for a smooth attempt, and have 2 questions for those wiser than me at all things bonding, please!:
1. how long after neutering is it good to wait for his hormones to settle down?
2. he isn't yet litter trained, whereas my pair have been litter trained from kits and are very good; should I bring him home and keep him totally separately first (just with playdates), so I can litter train him before the full bonding?
Thanks as ever, everyone - all ideas and advice is welcome and much appreciated!
