My baby Daisy (10 month old lion head) has been sneezing a lot lately, at first I assumed it was allergies of some sort because I recently moved, but it has slowly gotten worse, what started as a sneeze here and there is now very frequent sneezing and a very wet and snotty nose(it's very watery and clear from what I can tell). I have already called around all the vets in my area, found the one that seems the most experienced with rabbits, but she couldn't fit me in until Saturday afternoon and I was wondering if there are any at home ways I could help with her runny nose and sneezing until I can get her in to see the vet. She doesn't seem uncomfortable or that bothered by it, she's eating, drinking, pooping, and hopping about regularly but she is cleaning her face a lot and of course there is a lot of sneezing.
On another note, I know that if this is the snuffles my other rabbit (1.5yr old Californian) is likely to get it as well because it's very contagious, currently they are completely separate but before when it was just occasional sneezing they were housed right next to each other and had a lot of play time together, he isn't showing any symptoms right now but I'm not sure how I should proceed, should the vet give him medicine as well just as a preventative treatment because he's been exposed or should I wait it out and watch for symptoms?
