Please Note - Medical Advice
Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.
You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.
Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Thanks Helen. He's just woken up and I have risked a peep at him, he's nibbling some bits of hay. I can't risk him seeing me seeing him as he'll stop
Sending mega munching vibes for Ted!! I'm always late to your threads, sorry!! Glad he is munching a little at least, I hope he improves more later xx
Certainly no need to apologise, I don't spend enough time round here. He's not impressed with us at all! He has just had his zantac and is sitting looking a sorry for himself in his litter tray. He did eat a little bit of bunny biscuit I baked this afternoon though, which surprised me but anything going in I'm happy about as long as it starts coming out as well.
What's your recipe for bunny biscuits L?
Ted's doing well this morning. He's eaten most of his breakfast herbs and veg and some bits of hay. He's also done quite a few poos which are smaller than usual but they're not misshapen. It normally takes a few days to get to that stage so I think he's doing well so far

Ted seems pretty much back to normal now. Scoffed down his breakfast then ran into the living room where he did a little binky. He then ran up and down behind the curtains buzzing, which is his usual morning activity bless him .
Thanks for all vibes.
My guys wont eat anything sweet. Does anyone else find this??
