I see salt licks for sale and wondered if there's any health benefits to them?

Does anyone advise them? Or stay clear?

No need for them. Don't waste your money - buy a bag of dry herbs and stuff instead.

Thank you. They get fresh herbs and want to get a dehydrator but just always see them and think I'd it needed!

This is supposed to be banana chips and papaya pieces. It's still not done yet lol. I can't wait to forage in the spring to use this

I would never, ever use them. A balanced diet is all that's necessary

Just strange they're in like every pet shop!! But I spose a lot of bad things are sold for all pets in pet shops so another to the list

Might be another of those myths ... small animals need extra salt :lol:

If it's something I don't see hanging on trees for their wild cousins to eat, I tend to think it's probably not necessary
