Is it best to bond a baby or adult with 2 bonded sisters?

Young Bun
Hi there, I have 2 bonded, neutered, mini lop sisters. I am thinking of getting another rabbit and not sure if its best to get a baby or adult male - either of which would be from a rabbit rescue centre. Any advice of which would be the best to go for?:wave::wave::wave:

Actually, if it were me, I would not risk breaking the bond your two rabbits have by attempting to add another. What could happen is that you end up with three single rabbits.
Only my opinion, of course, and others may have different views.

I wonder how old they are? If they are still young they would possibly accept a neutered male rabbit but introductions would have to be carefully planned.

Personally I agree with Babsie. Bonding the two females took everything out of me and risking their bond for another rabbit isn't an option I have because three individual rabbits wouldn't be viable.

I agree :thumb: if you are desperate for more rabbits I would go for another pair, but you would need to be careful of referred aggression.
