Tree = Hornbeam? I thought it may be beech at first - looking at the ?seeds top right. I'm not very good at trees.

Oh my...how exquisite!About how big would you say that bird is, Jane? Parakeets here would probably be what you call budgies. That one looks more like parrot sized to me!

Tree is probably Hornbeam (to ID count the number of veins in the leaf). The Rose-ringed Parakeet is 16 inches long, so compare this to a Blackbird which is 10 inches long, but remember that the Parakeet has a very long tail. It's interesting to see that the Parakeet is eating the seeds of the HornbeamWas there just the one Parakeet?
