Bunny Scrap

Firstly apologies to the mods because I posted this originally on my phone in Rabbit Chat - when clearly it should be in bunny bonding!

Original post

Why girls why.....

Dolly and daisy just decided to hate each other and I have separated them from swirling balls of fluff twice just now

First time daisy started it and second time Dolly did. I was cleaning them out but did it exactly the same as usual.

There was a big tree being cut down earlier and a lot of mechanical noise which was upsetting them, could it just be that?

I know you get referred aggression but they've lived next to jazz for over a year now and both are spayed.

What should I do??

Update Later
I had to go out so decided to keep them apart while couldn't supervise them - probably wrong but they were proper rolling about both times and I was scared.

They are together again now and daisy, who has always been submissive seems to be aggressively thrusting her nose forward for grooming. Dolly has groomed her several times and they are both munching hay together. I'm back inside now but have a window that opens into their run and that's open so I can hear scuffles they are alone all night will they be ok?!

Sounds like apart from the upset from the tree felling that the less dominant one has perhaps decided to try be top bun....maybe she thought that she would give it ago ...id keep an eye out for scratches/bites just in case . Hope they settle down soon xx

Thanks for the replies :) sorry again for posting twice. I was going out when it started and I panicked!

Today they have been calm and back to their usual roles. It did seem like Daisy just completely switched and wanted to be boss. She's bigger than her sister but is so laid back and aloof so it was a bit of a shock. Dolly did seem the most bothered by the noise so perhaps Daisy saw that as weakness?
