Fly free little blackbird

We have a lovely family of blackbirds who come into our garden. Every morning, they're sitting outside my kitchen doors waiting for me to feed them.

This morning, when I went out to put my washing out, one of the youngsters was lying dead on my steps

It's really upset me - they're so lovely to watch and seeing the poor little thing there was awful.

They are such lovely birds. I was lucky enough to have a nest last year outside my kitchen window. I was a nervous wreck when they fledged!!

Aww I love the wild birds that visit our garden and they always bring their babies as if to say 'look'.
We have a few blackbirds and some are very territorial and funny.
