I have no mice left.

For the first time in around 6 years I find myself mouseless.

I've been debating stopping keeping them for ages and if ever there was a sign I think it's the one healthy mouse going downhill overnight and needing to be pts on the same day her sister dies of tumours, but I keep walking over and sitting by the cage only to realise there's nothing living there any more

I just wanted to do a little tribute to all the mice.

First there were Milly (grey) and Molly





Who were shortly joined by Paige



Then Poppet (Grey), Scout and Inca (black and white) came home with us







Then we adopted older ladies Dizzy (brown and white), Wombat (agouti and white) and Bear (black and white).






They were not long followed by old yeller (yellow) brown mouse (grey/brown), and Addy the adventurer (brown and white)







Who were later joined by Alice and Alice (identical)



and most recently, Dora (brown head), Juna (ginger and white), Zeb (black and white) and Sophie (agouti)










It feels an incredibly sad day, that this timeline has come to an end, but they were all dearly loved and I feel like my life is better having shared it with them

They were all so cute. I am sorry that none of them are with you any more

I'm so sorry they were all beautiful they've all had a brilliant life

That's so sad. Sorry you've had two losses.

I miss mice and will always have a soft spot for them but, for me, the lack of a decent vet is a huge problem. Plus I do prefer the less-stinkyness of hamsters.

They look so utterly sweet and full of character

Having had a mouse I do understand what lovely little characters they are.My little sandy coloured fella Morrismouse was lovely and so tame.He was at a rescue when I was adopting one of my buns and I offered him a home as he was already elderly and in need of spoiling.I had him quite awhile in the end and felt so sad when he scurried to the bridge.
Im sorry you find yourself mouseless.It must feel very strange having had afew of them.They are all so cute in the pictures.
