Mia's diary

She had another escorted trip outside yesterday! Second vet visit is next week and then she can go out more often :)

Unfortunately 5 am is now established 'playtime' so I live in hope that when she can go out more she will be tired enough to sleep through till 6. She's too cute to tell off though, chatting away to mousey at 5!

Just now....

Awe that face

Such an intent look at the birdy:lol:

My Cleo used to have a blue mouse with a bell on she would play fetch with me with it and also carry it round with her  unfortunately she lost it and was very upset for a few days when we found it she had lost interest in fetch :(

Just wondering whether Mia has managed to un-glue herself from your lap to have a little venture outside again (not today, though, if your weather is anything like mine - I've nearly got blown away )

I was trying to get a photo for you the other day, she only really ventures out for a wander and then comes back in but a few days ago she did a lap of the whole garden and even went in to check out the bunny run and playhouse whilst the buns were out free ranging.
She then bumped into a neighbours cat who had appeared in the garden and stood her ground! No fighting or anything, she just sat and glared at it until it admitted defeat and slunk away - go Mia!!

It's been blowing a gale here too but calmed down now so she's sat in the conservatory with just her head stuck out the door watching the birdies in the tree very intently.

Sounds as though she has come on by leaps and bounds! I think her world is already so much bigger now she has the whole house to call her own (and a lap there for the asking). As you say, Go Mia! I've just had the first frog of the season - twice.

I spoke too soon, the weather is back with a vengeance and Mia is back on my lap.

I was trying to teach her to use the cat flap yesterday, pushing it open and cooing 'come on sweetie' through it. naturally it turned out my neighbour was outside at the time

Meanie! Bet you didn't last long. She looks as though she can't believe what is (or isn't) happening.
