How much paint?

I'm planning on painting the sheds next year but I'm wondering how much paint I'll need... Was wondering how much others used and how big your sheds are and if you painted the outside and inside? Thanks in advance!

All depends on the size of your shed?

Always better to buy more as you may need to cover the shed twice or even touch up later on..

2.5 litres is enough for a normal shed

Most paint tins come with a coverage on the side: check the size of your shed/whatever, add a couple of m2 for extras (trims, window panes etc.), and then double it for two coats.

Thanks everyone. I looked at the paint average coverage per m2 but it was for either smooth or rough wood and the sheds are somewhere in between! I guess I won't know for sure until I do it!
