I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't remember if there was any firm answer! Does anyone know what the thick tubular orangey brown sticks you find in hay are? My lot go mad for them! They've all been stealing them from eachother!! I'd love to know if it's something I can get hold of in bulk!

Not sure what they are but my girls love them too and they must be good for their teeth as I can hear them crunching away! :love:

Chances are if you bought them in bulk they wouldn't eat them ... :lol:
 
The ones in my hay are usually dry stems of docks. Sometimes they are bramble or thistle - but those are noticeably spikey and not hollow.
