It's probably something totally different but it's started sprouting everywhere, so thought i'd ask!!

It isn't plantain but I'm not sure what it is.

no its not plantain . . looks like young dock - which is high in oxalics and although the very young shoots are ok to feed, I avoid.

ooohhhh - I think you are right there - I did not see the images that had the seed head on first time - and that definitely would make it to green and small leaved for dock.

Presume therefore disturbed soil situation?
