Latest little trick

Arthur has taken to digging in the water bowl therefore splashing water all over the place. Why is he doing this and is there any way to stop him other than changing to a bottle? Mabel loves the bowl and has always been very clean and tidy with it. I prefer bowls as I find them easier to refill and clean and find them more natural. I've tried a couple of different cermaic bowls with different height sides but he digs at both. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

I haven't used them myself but I know quite a few people on here use them and find them good. If you were to try one I would hang it with the spout bit over his bowl to encourage him to use it.

The link you sent didn't open properly for me. this does look good - I'll just need to find a way to attatch it to the side of the pen as it's wooden panel not bars.

What about a coop cup? I'm not sure what set up you have so don't know if you have somewhere to attach it to. You could place it a bit higher up off the floor, that might stop him digging it.
