Wabbit Wednesday - Millie and Maddie *loadsa photos* UPDATE #23

So I wouldn't even own Millie and Maddie if it wasn't for RU.

I had intended to buy two baby mini lops from a breeder but as I hadn't owned rabbits since a child and having not owned a indoor bunny before I started doing research online and came across RU. It had never occured to me that there were rabbits in rescues just like cats and dogs! So I ended up looking at RSPCA Worcester and going to see Millie and Maddie. They were named Tom and Gerry at the time because their previous owner had thought they were two boys, which explains why she had so many rabbits that her landlord told her she had to rehome most of them. They hadn't been what I was looking for as I was looking for a boy and girl mini lop and their photo on the website didn't do them justice at all. But I met them and fell in love because they are gorgeous!

So here's their 3.5 months with me in my favourite photos. Sorry if you've seen these photos before I think I've shared a lot of them!

It's lovely to hear that these girls have such a loving home thanks to RU. It never occurred to me that there was so many rabbits in rescue before I found RU either. We'd already got Alfie by that time but his two partners since have both been rescues.

They are gorgeous, I can see why you fell for them even if they are not mini lop ish at all :lol:

They nearly always flop together. Usually Millie flops on top of Maddie which makes Maddie jump up startled but then Maddie flops back down on Millie :lol:

I've just been onto the RSPCA Worcester website again out of interest and 1 or 2 of the bunnies that were there when I got the girls in January are still there They were with a nice foster mum before but it makes me sad to think they could still have been waiting for a home.

One day.....they might come and stay with me and then I could bunny nap them!!!!!! Tooooooo cute for words.

They are sooooo sweet!! I think it's so lovely that you went to a rescue instead of a breeder Millie and maddie are very lucky

They might well have to come and stay with you soon actually Mrs B. I've got problems with my floor at home and I'm waiting to hear from the insurance company but if they give the go ahead me and the bunnies are going to have to move out while they rip the place apart. I can stay with my parents but I can't figure out the logistics of Millie and Maddie staying there at the moment I'm hoping the insurance people will have to give me money to send them on holibobs to you!

These two are too adorable, the picture of Maddie maybe (sorry I'm pants) is defiantely my favourite its too cute and made me "squeeeeee" quite loudly in work I work in a library got a few funny looks lol
