Just lost one of a bonded pair

Hi

So yesterday I had to make a very sudden decision to say goodbye to my lovely 6 year old bun

We now have our rescued boy who is only 2-3 & I dont know what to do next, he is a shy boy who thrived with the other, I cant bring him in

Anyone any experience/advice

Do I find him another friend, if so how long do I leave it

I dont want to replace my lovely bun as she was one in a million but do want the best for my remaining one

Thanks..

Sorry for your loss. I would try and find him a new wife bun as soon as possible.

... Binky free little bun. Xxxx

I too, would suggest a new wifey for him, he'll be lonely and lost otherwise...

Good luck.. Xxx

Sorry to hear you have lost your rabbit.

Whereabouts are you based? I think the best plan would be to approach a rescue who likely have a large number of suitable partners.

Thanks for all of your replies

I do think the best thing for him would be a new wifey

Just didnt know how soon to do it, will def rescue another, maybe from same place we rescued him from

Its only been a day so Im still upset but thinking of him, poor dude x

.. I know how you feel, you almost feel disloyal even thinking about it.

I bonded Willow within a week, it worked out well for her in the end and worth all the tears,,,

Good luck,,, its a difficult thing to do,,,
