Unlimited hay - does it matter which?

Yep, i read on here months ago that Green Oat Hay, although exceptionally nommy is more fattening for buns...

I give it to Smudge to encourage him to eat again after periods of stasis when he has lost weight...

Both buns love it but it is limited if not, they'd nom the whole bag in a day!!

Mine have unlimited readigrass and Timmy hay. I do only give a few pellets tho as it's richer than hay I think!

I've recently switched mine from INGs to Timothy and Rye (from hay for pets) as they were both starting to develop small spurs. I'm hoping the Timothy will be better for their teeth as it's a lot coarser, it took them a little while to get used to it but they both enjoy it now. I often top it up with a bit of meadow hay and sometimes mix a handful of readigrass in with it. Lately though they've been getting fresh grass and dandelions so I haven't really been giving them any readigrass.

Is it OK to feed unlimited Timothy Hay? My two love this!

Yes - I don't think there is any argument when it comes to Timothy Hay I think that and meadow hay are the two hays we all agree upon.
