Weird behaviour

sparkyblue87

Young Bun
I am re-bonding our rabbits after a spay, we have gone down the bath route and built up space, we have put them back in their new hutch and they have shown some strange behaviour.

They will snuggle and groom each other in the enclosed section of the hutch, where they sleep, but when they move out into the rest of the hutch, our mini lop Fudge just sprints off from Snowy, to which Snowy chases her. Then as soon as they are back in the enclosed bit, snuggles and grooming.

Anyone had similar experiences or has any advice?

Thanks

How long have they been in the hutch? It's normally for them to go backwards a little when you move location. I expect you'll find over the next week they'll settle down. It might just be they've more space there so that's where they have their chases before having a nap
