Three days ago I mentioned that we got the new bunny at the Rescue found in the basement. The facts now are that she is he and His new name is Krecik (Mole) Overall he is doing well but his body shape (characteristic for bunny who was feed very bad) worrying us little bit.His liver is enlarged (extend over costal arch) That is why we start giving him Ornipural.Right diet and right treatment should improve his health.
Also on Monday Tokio went through the treatment of removing abscess from cervix stump. The abscess was removed completely. In her abdominal cavity there were no sign of any spreads. She is still taking penicillin. We try to stay positive but also very cautious. Time will tell.

She is missing one kidney he is super madcap on the wheelchair. The situation with Kalifornia and Roosevelt showing us that illness or handicapped is one thing but instinct is another.Because of Kalifornia now we know that inside tiny Roosevelt body testosterone is pumping ans soon he need to be neutered

Body Temperature 32 degrees Celsius just that fact did not give us much hope but we still decided to fight. We thought that maybe when she overcome the crisis we will see her running happy with our other bunnies outside on there play ground looking at her how life can change for the good. But unfortunately this time the life gave us with each other just 2 hours
Jedyna (the only one )the name we gave her after she past away. Yesterday she was dropped by her previous owners at the vet clinic because they want put her down. The Doctor decided not to go with there wishes but I don't know what to think about what happened later.
She was not eating or producing any droppings from over a week now.She was also very overweight which cost hepatic steatosis. We know for the fact that to start fighting for the bunny in that condition you need to start from intensive treatment including ornipular. It takes time to just stabilized the digestive system. But in that case nobody give her that chance
The day she end up at the clinic vet decided to perform surgery to remove hair bowls from her stomach and also to perform spayed surgery. It is very hard to imagine what kind of vet will made such a stupid and unprofessional decision.
But because of that she did not got a second chance in her life
    Binky free little one .....

Wiosna is with us sins Wednsday. Her overall health is good if you will not count her wounds on her back (they are caused by the bites) also her fur is in terrible condition. She was brought to us from so- called mini zoo for kids Maybe there are some mini zoo where the animals ale well take care of or properly feed but so far we never seen one.
But Rescue is the place when we give those bunnies second chance in life. The place where they are loved and well take care of.So in Wiosna situation we will do everything we can to help her heal as fast as we can.
We also wanna let you know that lately we vaccinate 67 bunnies (from myxomatosis and RHD) the total cost of that was 670zl (164$) From January we performed countless castrations so the bunnies can find there new forever homes as soon as this is possible. So to just give you the idea our monthly invoice from the vet for all the treatments, tests and procedures is around 5 tys.zl (1226$)

Remember when I mention the bunny name Jedyna couple days ago?? Guess what tonight we got the new bunny. Her name is Jaskolka (Swallow) and we thought that we have "Deja Vu" Because her story is exactly the same like Jedyna.
She stopped eating for week and a half she did not produce any droppings. Then her previous owners decided to put her down. But the vet decided not to go with there wishes and to perform surgery to remove hair bowls from her stomach and also to perform spayed surgery.
In that case the only positive is that she survive and she is with us.But next couple of hours and days will be crucial for her.Behind us is first feeding and first medication (ornipural).Let's pray that this story will have different ending than Jedynej.

Jaskolka health did not change She has no appetite, very lethargic. We are feeding her very carefully (smaller portion but more often) She is also getting antibiotics, medicine to improve peristaltic intestine activity ans some painkillers.Tomorrow she is going to see the vet and abdominal ultrasound examination will be done.
Do you remember our lovely Wiosna?? With good care her wounds on her back should heal quickly. We want you to get to know her little bit better.

In March Lilka went thru the surgery. The vet remover big encysted abscess which was located close to the bladder. Also some smaller purulent changes.Despite her breathing problems (the USG shows presence of pus in her lungs, despite significant improvement the whole time bronchial murmur is still present) the surgery went well.Lilka awake after anesthesia quite fast. Her condition is very serious. But following the example of Duszek everything is possible - you just need to believe.
Kalifornia 6 weeks ago went thru the liver extraction treatment. She is feeling very well.In one week she gain 35 dag.She is having great appetite, she is very active and full of energy. She also loves Roosevelt (and he is so happy that even trying to do binkies on his wheelchair) -they are best friends
