How do I teach the uns to use the new cat flap on their shed and if lo k it at nigh then open it I the morning will they still understand its use

I held mine open with a tasty treat the other side then half open so they had to push, they caught on very quickly and probably would have figured it out even without my help! I used to lock it at night too and they had no problems, other than being a bit frustrated they couldn't go outside!!
Take the door off or tape it open so they get used to going through the hole. When you close it they will soon start nosing it to remove the blockage (the door) and figure out how to get through. It is a bit confusing if you lock it at night, maybe pop something in front too?
