What gauge wire is best for hutches/runs etc? I don't quite want it puppy pen thick, but I need it to be a good one, what do you guys have?

standard gauge wire on hutches and runs is 19g. i would personally use 16g myself so it was stronger! but then i am obsessive! :lol:

I've made an 8 x 4 run for my bunny
We used 19 gauge with 1" x 1/2" holes
The minimum is 19 gauge for Rabbits, 1mm thick, of course it is always better to go down to 16 though.
We actually used 19 gauge for our bunny because she isn't a chewer, and i couldn't find any stronger wire that had small holes.
it is classed as minimum, but that still means it's ok.
