slugs

hi guys is there anything i can put in my hut that will get rid off slugs but wont harm my boys

They're a pain in the bum aren't they? My mum has outdoor buns and kept finding slugs in the food bowls :mrgreen: When she started taking their food bowls in at night time it got better. Her buns are also in hutches with raised legs, so she put circles of plastic around the hutch legs to make it harder for the slugs to climb up, apparently they don't like climbing over them.

Copper repels slugs but needs cleaned regularly to be effective. Slug slime, yum! Salt also stops slugs but isn't good for your buns, if you can make a line of salt out of reach of the buns but around their housing it should stop the slugs, however when it rains you're back to square one.

You can also just pick them up and chuck them into the nearest field, but there are often so many this can seem a never ending job! Good luck with them as they really can be a pest.
