Runaround tunnels getting hot?

I'm trying to sort our shed out at the moment and am planning to have runaround tunnels to the run, so I ordered one to check size and see how it all fits together. When it arrived the first thing my husband said was 'that will get far too hot for them' I see his point, it being black and plastic, but thought I might have heard about it if it was a problem. Has anyone had any issues with them getting too hot? Thanks

I don't think mine gets too hot - my rabbit doesn't sit in it though - only uses it to run through very quickly.

I haven't had a problem with mine, it has lots of ventilation gaps in it and like the above person said, they don't really spent much time in them - just whizz up and down :lol:
