Ings hay for teeth?

After cutting my finger on ings hay for what feels like the 10th time is week, it's got me wondering whether this property of the hay makes it anymore beneficial for the buns teeth?

The green strands feel much rougher and coarser than normal hay - is it this that helps keep those teeth ground down?

Maybe I'm just wishful thinking but here's hoping it might reduce those dentals!

I don't think there is much different to be honest, all that matter is how much time they have to chew it so I guess longer is better.
