Hay, whats up...... Where to get hay in Northampton

ReeceT

Warren Scout
We are looking to get some hay in bulk and have come across this site http://www.dustfreehay.co.uk/hay.html

Has anyone bought hay from these guys before and do they know if the quality is any good. Better yet would be a local hay supplier in Northampton.

Do you have a farm anywhere near you? I used to buy from The Hay Experts (thinks that's what it's called) online but started getting mine direct from the farm down the road and you can instantly tell how much fresher it is by the smell. Really cheap too, £2.00 for a large bag or £6.00 for a bale.

I would think there should be one somewhere near me. What do you do just rock up and ask the farmer.

I will have a drive around tomoz and see.

Thanks

I used to buy dust free hay a long while ago (so can't vouch for it now) but I buy it by the bale from a local farm shop instead.

There's a list of suppliers across the UK here so you might find one quite close, although I'd ring before you make a journey just to make sure they do still sell them:

There may well be others in your area that people haven't mentioned on that thread, so it would be a good idea to add something like "Where to buy bales of hay in Northampton" to your title so that members local to you are more likely to see it. :D
