Thank you. This has given me some ideas and, actually fits with what I was thinking this afternoon.
Whilst Hector does normal poos (all types) I am beginning to work out he struggles to expell ceacals. It is all since he was ill with an infection of unknown origin.
He's gradually getting better I think but a trip back to the vet, armed with my observations and info from here is in order. I've scrutinised his every move for about three days now to work it out. He's quite well and acting normally save for an hour late afternoon really. Until I had something definite to tell the vet, I'd held off but reading this has reinforced my view that I'm not just imagining it and there could be a problem. Thank you.
