I just can't believe you are gone
You were the most special, the most beautiful and the most naughtiest bunny ever and i will miss you so so much.
I can't believe i will never stroke your soft fur ever again, i can't believe i won't ever see you doing any of your little Flopsy-ism's as much as some of them used to drive me mad! Like on a night when i used to come and feed you and put you in the shed for the night you would stay rooted firmly to the spot in the furthest corner of the run because you loved for me to have to open the run up and get on my hands and knees and chase your little bum inside. As soon as i got in the run you would start skipping around then happily hop inside and start eating tea.
There were some nights you'd like to scare me and make me think you weren't eating. I learnt that if i shut the shed door and listening for a minute i'd here the thud thud thud of you hopping across the floor and when i opened the door you'd be sat there with a mouth full of food!
Here is a picture of me and you when i first brought you home as a teeny 8 week old baby. I had to put towels everywhere at first because you loved to wee on everything!
I soon learnt you needed to have a husbun for company so we went searching and we found Rory.
After we lost poor Rory in Feb 2009, Zebedee came along

This has to be one of the funniest things you did, i think you were about 2 at the time. I brought you inside and you hopped up onto the bed, dug the duvet away from the pillows and flopped yourself down in bed
You were such a gentle girl but the only time you got cross was if anybody ever tried to remove you from under this desk
You became unwell last sunday, you stopped eating and one of your eyes had swollen up a bit. I took you straight to see the vet, he assured me it was to do with your teeth. You were already booked to go in on Monday. Your dental went well and you came home looking better and by Wednesday you were running round like there was nothing wrong. My vets had referred you to see the specialist anyway as they had a few concerns. Overnight on Wednesday you went downhill, you hadn't eaten and you weren't happy at all on Thursday morning. I took you to the appointment with FHB who thought she knew what was wrong and was confident she could help you and would operate on Friday. When my phone rang at 4.20pm on Thursday afternoon i knew it was going to be bad. Frances told me you had passed away and it had come as a huge shock to everyone. The infection in your face was much worse than anybody had thought and it had just got too far
I could go on forever talking about you but i will leave it at that. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
I will miss you every single day, you have left a huge mischevious Flopsy shaped hole in my heart.
I hope these 5 years have been happy ones and i hope you know how much i love and adore you. I hope you are happily playing around with Rory and Zebedee now. You are lucky having your two handsome men waiting for you up there
