Green Beans!

I always buy the trimmed green beans from Morrisons (only 50p pack). I only usually give 2/3 a day but Cookie would probably eat the whole packet if I let him. :)

That's what I bought. Spenser has finally been persuaded to eat one. :D

That's a useful list. :thumb: I'm sorry to see rocket is also high calcium though. :( And Spenser's beloved curly kale is bad for both. He hasn't had it all year, bless him. Sage is also an OK herb I think (not that Spenser will eat it).

I feed the foster buns rocket sometimes, I scatter a handful over their hay. I just make sure it's not part of their daily diet :D Watercress is a good alternative and similarly priced :thumb:

It is and to be honest I'd only feed it in small amounts, same as carrots and parsnips :D

Ah right, yes - I give my two a very small bit of carrot each, about three times a week. I have to say, I've never tried them with parsnip either. Mind you, they are fussy - they won't eat grass. They go out in the run and won't touch it, then I bring them back inside and they dive on their hay as if I've starved them by putting them on the grass:roll:

It is a real shame about kale isn't it!!

Mine both go totally mad for parsnip, it's their favourite. I did try Asparagus once, they just ran off and wouldn't even go near it!
