Strawberry leaves?

I've seen people posting that they have fed strawberry leaves. Sorry for the silly question but does that mean the green bit on the strawberry or the leaves from the plant itself? I have 2 plants in the garden that have lots of lovely leaves but have only produced a couple of fruits about the size of a pea I'm definitely not green fingered

Can guinea pigs have them too?

The actual plant goes down a storm with my lot....they sit in the barrel and nom away....

Yay Ill give them all a leaf later. Hopefully all the effort of growing them wont have gone completely to waste

This time of year is great for feeding the bunnies things that may be growing in your garden. My gang love the strawberry leaves, strawberries, raspberry leaves, raspberries, mint, parsley, coriander, dill, basil.............and occasionally they share them with us!!!!!!

Rabbits can eat the entire strawberry plant; leaves, stalks, flowers and eventually the fruit

My next door neighbour has huge strawberry bed and the leaves hang over our side so I tried bun with one and he wolfed it. We can pick any strawberries we like but when I tried one he didn't like it just the leaves.

Spenser virtually inhales strawberry leaves, they are one of his absolute favourites. Even when he was a much fussier eater than he is now, he would always enjoy a strawberry leaf.

He is very happy for me to feed bunny anything from his garden but think I will let him know I am nicking his strawberry leaves

Nutmeg likes them too and she's ever so picky, though she's getting a bit better.
