  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Ruby and Oscar...u/d...poison.

Forgot to say if you don't believe it's carbon related. Please keep them away from your other bun, and wash your hands and change your clothes between handling to prevent any cross contamination - just to be on the safe side x

Oh my god, that's awful  I don't know what to say  My thoughts are with you. I hope Eddie's OK. I'm so sorry  Binky free Ruby and Oscar xx

Thank you....your support is invaluable....I don't know what I'd do without you.

I've moved the detector and it seems ok in the room. I've moved them in a carrier with their favourite blanket outside in one of the hutches, to keep them cold. I washed thoroughly with disinfectant soap before coming in the house.
They're all up to date with their jabs.

I'm really sorry, but I don't have the brain to think anymore. I need to try to sleep and will take them to the vet tomorrow. ...I won't get them back with a pm.:cry:...but I need to know that Eddie is safe!!

.....you don't know how much your support means. :(
