Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Its not complicated provided its just the incisors.Lily gets hers burred every month at a cost of 9.71
My vet doesnt give a GA for front teeth...just uses a tool to shorten. The teeth would shatter if clipped.
Hope buns teeth are an easy job.xxxxxx

thanks for the reply thats not too bad, hopefully it's just my imagination. i don't look at their teeth often i just go by how their eating so they maybe are normal for her. but at least that doesn't sound too bad for her if they do needed treated. thanks yvette.

If they get too long you normally get little ulcers in the bottom lip and she would probably be eating funnily, if she's munching away on her hay then they're probably ok, but if you're worried then as well to get them checked out. Joe needed his top teeth shortening once after a jaw problem and didn't need a GA either she just took him out the back and after 30 seconds of a nasty drilling sound  he was back through, i thought he'd have the hump all night after that but he was actually really happy, probably because he could eat normally again :)
