Calcium question

Hey

As some of you will know I have a dental bun and I am currently in the process of cutting down her pellets and I am now trying to offer her a variety of fresh veg every evening :)

Does anyone know any low calcium veg that I can feed her? I am now feeding her a different herb every night (all of which I think are high in calcium) :? and then she will get another green such as cauli leaf, sprout, broc, celery etc to go with it. She loves carrot and apple and I feed these once a week in place of her normal green veg. Any ideas of how I can make sure she doesn't get too much calcium??

oh and pellets are terrible culprits of calcium... from what ive read on here only the timothy hay based ones (Oxbow Bunny Basics/T)are low in calcuim...all the rest have alfalfa hay in..

not read up on it much  :lol:

Barley is on a low calcium diet as she suffers from cystitis. She gets approx 1handful of pellets a day.The veg advised by her vet was wet things like apple, cucumber, carrots. She also has celery, cabbage[any]banana, pears.I found spring greens & Timothy hay aggrevated her problem. She only has meadow hay/orchard grass. The vet advised putting orange juice or apple cider vinegar in her water if having a bad bout but I found that put her off drinking as much so stopped doing that.
